From Tiny Spark to Big Stage
Established in 2012 by the power couple M Stranger Fox and Sean L’Estrange, The Stranger Bar began as a cozy home that became Thailand’s first drag venue. What started as an intimate space quickly grew into the House of Drag Queens – where guests, staff, and queens didn’t just meet, they became Family. From this humble shop house, drag superstars were born and a movement took shape
Finding the Sparkle
From day one, The Stranger Bar was built as a safe space to be yourself, express yourself and create unforgettable memories. Known for its welcoming warmth, Irish hospitality, strong drinks and audience-interactive drag shows, the bar became a true community hub where everyone is welcome and every night feels special.
The Queens of the Night
As the family of Queens grew and crowds spilled onto the streets of Silom Soi 4, it was clear the next chapter had arrived. In Feb 2024, The Stranger Bar moved to a new location but now four times larger, allowing for our drag dreams to come true and vision to expand without losing its soul.

The new venue is a space built by a drag queen, for the queens, and for lovers of drag. A much wider stage, bold glam lighting, room to slay, room to dance, and a dream work space, bar space and a huge closet space! Whilst at all times preserving the heart, sass and magic of the original home. Whether you’re front row for the amazing lip syncs or dancing under the disco ball with a cocktail in hand, this is your space to be loud, be proud, and lose yourself in a glitter filled, unforgettable night.

Beyond our fabulous drag queens, The Stranger Bar is powered by an exceptional bar team who bring just as much personality to the night as the performances on stage. Our talented staff are known for creating drinks that are bold, fun and delicious – from our legendary Signature Sperm Shot to crowd favorites like the Only Fans Cocktails. Every pour comes with flair, humor, and genuine hospitality, because our team’s goal is simple: to make sure every guest feels welcomed, entertained, and very well looked after.

Shows start around 10 PM and keep going until the early hours.
The entry fee (around THB 500) gets you in on the magic and comes with two drinks—because we believe in starting the night right.
